1 - Market Growth


According to a Statista report, the SaaS market in Mexico reached a value of approximately $1.65 billion in 2022. It is expected to surpass $2.2 billion by 2025, indicating a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 10%. This shows the steady increase in investment and SaaS adoption by Mexican companies.




2 - Adoption by SMEs


Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) represent more than 95% of businesses in Mexico, and a report by IDC reveals that more than 60% of these companies have adopted or are in the process of adopting SaaS solutions.


This highlights the relevance of SaaS in optimizing processes and maintaining competitiveness in the market.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of SaaS tools in Mexico skyrocketed. A report by McKinsey & Company indicates that the use of SaaS collaboration technologies increased by 200% between 2020 and 2021, as companies migrated to remote work and online operations.

The financial and insurance sector in Mexico has been one of the largest adopters of SaaS, representing 35% of the total SaaS usage in the country, according to a Deloitte report. Other sectors that have shown significant adoption include manufacturing, retail, and education.





6 - Tech investment


According to analysis firm Gartner, 30% of Mexican companies’ technology spending in 2023 will go towards cloud-based solutions, including SaaS. This reflects the importance businesses place on these tools for their operations and growth.




These data demonstrate that Mexican companies, regardless of their size and sector, are adopting and valuing SaaS solutions as a way to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and stay competitive in an increasingly digital and globalized environment.
